Very busy schedule

Not qualifying for the US Tour’s play-offs meant I had to return for a week in California and then across the country to the east coast’s Sea Island to complete my 15-tournament obligation.
California was not particularly memorable from a playing point of view, but I was much happier the following week.
I’d been working quite a bit on my putting and it was nice to see the ball going into the hole again at the Davis Love-hosted McGladrey Classic. I had a good feeling about the event because I’m not a big city person and like it when it’s nice and quiet.
Not that it was that quiet for the first three rounds because I was paired with Tiger Woods so obviously... MORE »
Time with my brother at St Andrews
Posted: 5th October 2011
The memories came flooding back, the smile across my face was broader than the shared 1st and 18th fairways and the excitement grew more intense the closer I got to St.Andrews last week.
I just couldn’t wait to return to the scene of my greatest triumph – last year’s Open Championship at the home of golf.
There weren’t as many banners along the route and the few on the route were to promote the Alfred Dunhill Links, and there weren’t as many people, but this was my first time back in the Kingdom of Fife and I couldn’t wait to be re-united with the grand old lady of golf.

Busy Times

Hi there everyone, sorry it’s been a while but the time is just flying right now!
It was certainly a fun week at the Masters, I didn’t play very well but it was great seeing Charl getting the win there and slipping on that special jacket. I was at the airport and the very nice airline delayed the plane by an hour so I could watch the finish.
We went to Kuala Lumpur after August to play in the Malaysian Open and although it was a very steamy hot week we had a good time. I played with Charl for the four rounds so we really enjoyed that.
Three weeks on the farm in South Africa was just wonderful – nothing golf related and... MORE »

Hi there folks, hope you all had a great Christmas and I wish you all the very best for 2011.
Christmas time for us was great, it all got going on the 22nd when we celebrated Jana’s first birthday. We held a party for her and got a bouncy castle, slides and that kind of thing for her and her friends to play on – I think altogether there was about fifty people there and we had a lot of fun – Jana most certainly enjoyed herself!
We then spent Christmas on our farm with my side of the family and then went to Nel-Mare’s parents’ farm for the New Year. Their place is on the Orange River so we had a great... MORE »
Injury Woes
Posted: 7th November 2010
Sorry for the long wait but life has been a bit hectic the last four months and I've had a bit of an injury as well. I tore some ligaments in my left ankle and this is my first week back here at the HSBC Champions in Shanghai.
Part of my recovery is to play and get the ligaments back to normal but it is very difficult. I've got this huge brace I need to play with which restricts my swing.
So this was a week to test the ankle. I'm taking another two weeks off and then starting at the Dubai World Championship.
I shall be doing some more rehab during the next two weeks in Dubai so hopefully will be 100%... MORE »
